"This collection of policy papers is the result of a comprehensive process lasting for more than a year as the part of project “Strengthening the Policy-Making Capacity of Future Decision- Makers in the Areas of Security and Defense”, implemented by TransConflict Serbia and National Democratic Institute. Participants of the program have successfully completed an in-depth training course on core policy-making skills, received thematic lectures on a range of key security and defense issues, and attended breakfast meetings with key dignitaries. The main objective of such a multi-disciplinary approach was to equip the participants with specific skills and knowledge to ensure that they can contribute positively to the internal functioning and decision-making structures of their respective parties, thereby contributing to improvements in the overall standard of policy debate on security and defense issues in Serbia."
